Children's Story Hour

Recommended for children ages 3 – 5. Story Hour's are held from the Fall through Spring season every Thursday (with some exceptions) and begin at 10:30 a.m. Story Hours are listed on the Upcoming Events Calendar. For more information, please call the library at 978-368-8928, ext. 5.

In addition to attending our wonderful programs, please make coming to the Thayer Memorial Library with your children a regular part of your week. Studies show that children who are read to often and have ready access to a wide variety of books do better in school and in life in general. Our goal is to create life-long readers. The library has so much to offer; music, books, movies, books-on-tape and even CD-ROMs! Children who regularly visit the library feel comfortable here and will not feel nervous coming to the library to do research for that special school project. For some children, the library is their home away from home. So, get yourselves library cards and enjoy all that the Thayer Memorial Library has to offer.
