Join us for Winter Reading from December 18 – February 21! We will be offering at home and in-person activities for all ages. Find more information on each event below.
BOOKOPOLY Reading Challenge
All are welcome to participate in our Bookopoly reading board game. Get a prize for every six activities completed. Once you’ve completed the board, you can be entered into a raffle for our grand prize.
Participants may submit as many sheets as they can complete. Pick up a sheet at the Library or download below.
Stuffie Scavenger Hunt
Have you seen our new friend? We’ve been looking everywhere! Help us find Maeve The Manatee every week when you come into the library.
When you spot the stuffie, let a librarian know in exchange for a raffle ticket. The winner of the raffle gets to bring the stuffie home.

Reflect on the year you’ve had and get excited for a fresh start! Log your reading to earn badges throughout the challenge. Thayer Memorial Library is participating in “Reading Wrap-Up,” a winter reading challenge sponsored by Beanstack.
