What? Something is cooler than sliced bread?
Folks,
Do you like bread?
Carbs be damned, I love bread.
Remember when you had to eat bread by the loaf? It was such a pain. Sometimes you weren’t hungry enough to eat an entire loaf, and if you couldn’t finish it, whatever was left got stale.
What a hassle, right?
Then some genius figured out how to slice bread. Wow, everything changed overnight, and life became more manageable. Slicing bread became the cool thing to do.
Well, I have news for you.
kanopy is cooler than sliced bread.
The Library provides you, the mighty Lancaster resident, with a new service to enjoy from the ease of your comfy home – kanopy!
What is kanopy, Director Joe?
kanopy is a streaming service that works much like hoopla. Each library member gets five credits per month to select from a catalog of notable and enriching films, documentaries, and videos. They even have videos from the Great Courses and a collection curated, especially for kids.
Videos can be streamed through Roku, fire tv, Apple TV, Chromecast, on a tablet or PC.
To give kanopy a spin, use your Thayer Memorial Library membership number and PIN to create a kanopy account. You must be a Lancaster resident to use kanopy. Read kanopy’s privacy policy and then have some streaming fun.
Not sure how to start using kanopy or have a question? Contact me, and I will lickety-splitly get you up and running.
