I’ll take a pass at that.
Folks,
The weather is mild. Things are opening. School vacation is around the corner.
What to do?
Some of you are wise and know that not only does the Library do books, videos, and music, but we also do passes to local attractions.
What’s a pass?
A pass is simply a service the Friends of the Thayer Memorial Library, Lancaster Garden Club, and Greater Worcester Community Foundation underwrite that enable you all to visit a variety of excellent places for free or at a reduced price.
The Library offers:
Ecotarium Museum of Science and Nature
MA Parks
We provide these passes to anyone with a library membership in good standing. Due to high local demand, we cannot honor library cards from citizens in surrounding communities.
Library members can reserve their pass by calling the Library by telephone at 978-368-8928 ext. #2.
So that others can get passes quickly, passes must be returned the day after being borrowed and returned in the outside book drop, which is open to the public 24 hours a day. Due to the limited number of passes available, individuals can only borrow one pass per library card at a time.
